Playstation 3....

Well I posted this on another forum but no one replied to my thread so hopefully I might get a bit more help here or advice on what you think I should do. Heres goes :

Well I have 2 PS3's one which works absolutely fine and is a slimline and the other is an 80gb one which doesn't read disks, I've tried CD/DVD/BluRays to see if it will read any of them and it doesn't my brother had the same problem but his read CD's and DVD's. I was thinking about putting it on eBay for parts or spares but if anyone else has any ideas first then fire away

Take it in for repairs?

If you are bold enough to tear off the seal to open it, go for it. The lens might be the problem or has dust on it.

But of course if you're unsure, let someone repair it.
