Until you add the textures and stuff theres not much to say, but I like the design of the handle/grip and the bit above it (can't remember what its called :D)
Gj so far -- it will be interesting to see the finished project.
Yay. thanks.Quote:

Looking better now?
Anyway, i'm going to sleep now and leaving 3dsmax to render higher resolution with skylight.
Looking much better keep it up, I personally didn't like the original and it lacked abit of everything and had no significance too me and made me think "shit it's a sword..." but now I think "Hmm that looks pretty cool dont it?".
-Mattio GJ keep it up
Better render:

show it from an angle different from 2D
if you dont you might as well make it in paint :s
neosparky is right, show it from an angle, and try adding some textures, shadows and lights to it to give it more of a 3d look
Ok ok, I will. Just wait, it takes time to render in good quality ( and i got some more projects) with mine p4 1.6ghz >.<

I thought it was very good, loved cartoony stuff
looks nice m8 :)
have you used sky light with advanced lighting (light tracer/sky tracer) or just soft shadows, it's fooling me many times in non-well lightened scenes.
it needs a texture and some depth on the handle
(not just a blocky polygon)
if it had no "corners" eg. more round it would probably look great :)
I'm working with sword now. Will post pics latter.
good luck ^_^ looking forward to seeing the finished version
Got litle update. Still experimenting.
