Connection problem

Hey when ever i switch on vbox the internet connection on the real machine gets cut off....is there any way to fix it???

You are doing something wrong... Virtualbox doesn't do anything to the network adapters that would cause them to do that

Only time it ever even touches the networking directly is when it installs the virtual network device to use host only. In the bridged network configuration it uses a spec for networking that was created quite a while ago and VMWare was really the first company to ever use it...
