This game is in need of being modernised it is still is my fav FPS game.


Petition for RtCW MP Remake

Dear ET Players,

This is a petition for "ID Software, LLC" to remake "Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Multiplayer ONLY)" for "PC".

We are requesting for "ID Software" to update the graphics to reflect modern day games. We also request new maps as well as the old.
We also request "ID Software" to stay away from anything resembling the 2009 "Wolfenstein" title, this includes the engine used to run the game and NO iron sights.

Isn't it just.... Enemy Territory??

If you install the game you'll notice that the folder that the game is in is called "Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory" and also know as Return to castle Wolfenstein.

Wolfenstein-Enemy Territory was definitly one of the highest ranked multiplayer games in recent history. I have to agree about voting for this game.

Return to castle Wolfenstien has a multiplayer only component already.

In my opinion it doesn't need graphics a boost. The game is just fine the way it is.

People these days are too concerned with flashy, realistic graphics instead of game play.

In terms of maps, why is it up to ID to provide them? The game is modable so players can quite easily create their own maps. In fact I believe people do.

If you want to create your own maps you can use gtkradiant or Qwark or whatever else you can find.

The source code to Quake 3 was released so people can make ports for quake based games with better graphics.

And if you look on their homepage the source code was released for Return to Castle Wolfentien and Wolfenstien Enemy Territory and they have already started on new engines.

So you can expect you graphics upgrade in the near future.
