A few questions

I gots a few questions I need answered, so I'ma stick them here and hopefully get some answers xD

1.Error "Fortune Sack has no such item"
2.How to change the glow on the fox form? >.>
3.Exp/Sp/Drop Rates wont change even though the ptemplate.conf is set to x50,000. Is there any limit to the ex multiplier or is it just not working? :/
4.Is it possible to change the class requirement of weapons? Like the daggers and soulspheres, to make them all class?...If so how please?

Yea about 4...I noticed that they are all class too :x...but for some reason it still says class Monk or whatever...and I can't equip it...

Get new ones then... after an item that is modifiable the data in elements.data is ignored except for the name, your hex data on the item makes the server still think it is limited to that class

Anyone know how to change the color of the glow for the fox form?

1 - Be sure that your client's gshop is the same of the server Gshop... And, if you add an item, this item MUST NOT have the ID bigger than 30000

2 - You need to have some knowledge with GFX... but sorry, I can't help you in this question.

3 - Before leave the ptemplate.conf file, press CTRL + O and Enter... it will save the file. And be sure that your server is offline when you change it.

4 - Yes, it's possible... line 13 of your editor.

Is there anything else that could throw off the gshop? It still won't let me buy anything and I've copied the gshop.data to the server too and it still doesn't work >.<

elements,tasks,npcgen and gshop.data all get loaded into ram on daemon start... the disc copies are ignored until daemon restart

I'm sure there IS some kind of limit to these rates in ptemplate.conf I've not tried something as obscenely ridiculous as 50,000! Honestly, if you wanted to try "50,000x" just to see if it would work -- that's fine I suppose, but to actually 'run' a server at that rate... well... would be super gay!

Personally I am thinking this variable it limited to either a specific number, or how many digits. If it's limited to a specific number I would have no clue what that number would be without doing some extensive testing. If it's the latter I would take an educated guess and say it's limited to either 3 or MAYBE 4 digits, so try something like 999 or 9999 if you must. (Personally when/if I open my server there's gonna be ZERO exp boost, since EVERY private server and it's mother does large EXP boosts; what about the people that actually wanna play the way it was originally!!!)

chmod -R 777 configs

And EVERY TIME that you upload an .data to your configs folder, you MUST give permission to the file.

To give permission to an individual file, use the following command:

chmod 777 dataname.data

---

In "dataname" use the name of the .data file, example: "elements.data", or "gshop.data" (Without quotes).

EEEEK no, it only needs to be readable by the user OR the group of the user running the server (or can just be run by root which has no restrictions on anything, hell to root even 000 permissions mean nothing but running anything publicly under root is just asking for you to get hacked...)

What? So, you use a custom user and give permission 777?
