1st post ever in this thread, i must say i am honored.
i got my dreamcast for 20 bucks and i have these games:
tony hawk pro skater 2
sonic adventure
soul calibur
hydro thunder
guantlet legends
half-life (dont ask me how i got it, i just did)

they immeadiately gave me a dreamcast, 2 games, 2 controllers and a memory card.
i danced like a little girl, my first 2 games were sonic adventure and capcom vs. SNK.
right now the games that i ummm...."burned" some do not want to work...half-life and sega marine fishing, oh and jet grind radio.
but then that im happily playing skies of grandia, its an rpg based off the resident evil engine, ( not battle though).
hydro thunder, this game pwns when you have friends over, got boost?
gauntlet legends, need i say more, its a frag style rpg that is even available in arcades.
You making me wanna get my Dreamcast out of it's box again!

Never got into it. Loved the Genesis, however. I was one of those mainstreamers that went with the Playstation instead. Why? Suikoden, Wild Arms, and THEN FFVII.

but seriously go get one, they arent that much anymore.
its not a "true" 128bit system, it was 2 64-bit chips put together to create fluid video, although sometimes this wasn'tnecessary due to the load tiems of some games.
one of my friends has one.. the system seems kind of ahead of its time.. and Definantly underated.. people were to strung out on ps2 to think about how cool that system was.. and sega always has the best platformers (sonic for example)
expecially if you use a web browser cd that cost 50 bucks....but coudl be found free ;)
you could search the web from the dreamcast, even the VMU could be used to have little chaos as pets, all what you would need to do is recharge the VMU every 2-3 days by putting it into the dreamcast and turning it on.
i got dreamcast only like 2 games worth it though, Test Drive 6, and Gaunlet Legends, i only paid $30 for mine

i have an ntsc DC with 2 original controllers and 2 light guns + the VMU where u can take care of ur little Kaos from Sonic..

i got NES and a sega and a sega saturn. and Dreamcast and Gamecube and XBoX :D and All the gameboys.. i just collected them over time from a neibor for just give em to me ... so.. me.. i bought my DC.. first day it came out WOOOT
when DC came out i thought it was the PWNAGE, but then Sega goes bankrupt and sells to various companies, mainly nintendo, but it was sad the day they gave up on DC it has so muh more potential

& I can't really hook up my Dreamcast to the living room tv in flat I moved into cos there's just so much shit goin into & out of the back of the TV I just cba to unhook whatevers connected to it just so I can play for a few hours then put everything how it was b4.
i cant wait till the xbox 360 comes out cause then people will end up making emulators for every system out there and we can just put the old games in the xbox 360 and play em again :D
I wanna DC emulator for PC :(. I found one long time ago but I didn't trust it.
