my own clothes donation..help .elu
I created my own clothes in DDS files, but not add them to my server. as I have understood that need tmb archivos.elu so you can read.
In these cases, I have to do?
ps: I have .dds files

dds files are just the color of .elu files,
you need some .elu cause dds have not texture.
so your not created your own clothes, your just photoshop it or whatever,
as i said, texture files are .elu, and for create items you'll need blender, and is not simple

in the case with the same set.
example: set lk red.
I have the files. elu and. dds
but edit the color green, and I need to have both?
q that would have changed?

if you change the color of dds, so yes, you can see the item as you have change it, but don't change the name, keep it the same
for blender tutorials search on google
but as i said, make your own item takes time

Guh, Yeah, you nuts?
DDS aka Direct Draw Surface is a Image type therefor is a Texture.
@dohko;
Copy the base Model and Rename it to something like Donor.elu.
Open the Elu then in a Hex Editor and change the eq_ lines.
Example: eq_chest_aura -> eq_chest_donor.
Edit the Textures of that Elu and change their name too.
This means you also have to edit the Names in the Elu once more.
Example: gz_hum_chest_aura.tga -> gz_hum_chest_donor.tga
The last thing to do is to create the Zitem Entries & Woman01/Man01.xml.

yeah but you don't understand me, the colour is a texture obviously, but you can't just make a dds, i mean you need an .elu for that .dds to see the item in the game

It wasnt his intention for a entirely new thing.
He just wanted to duplicate a set and retexture it to be a donor set ;)
