Now before I being I wanted to declare that IGN finally wrote coverage on something decent-OH WAIT THEY JUST LINKED IT FROM THE ORIGINAL SITE....good job with media coverage IGN....*face palm*

What They Play - Sex, Lies and Video Games

this is an article I found regarding lots of controversy in games that is mainly based off pure skepticism. It's interesting to read about how the media really can blow a something out of proportion, and all the while blame it on videogames and leave movies and other reason out.

If you choose to read it what are you thoughts?
Personally I wish people who grow up and get with the times. I like how in the article compared how this type of banter can relate to how in the 50's rock was to blame for everything. It's true how people are so quick to point their finger. It's not the 50's anymore, people!

I kinda agree with it...
I mean video games with sex interactions, scenes, or just all-around sexy characters, will diffidently sell more and be more popular.

Such as Bioware games...I know Bioware's game isn't too bad, and they put a lot of work into it, but it's obviously it would be a rather boring generic game with the sex/sexiness removed.

Thus it created more retards who hates on JRPGs(or any other Asian genre) on sight and creates useless flame wars on the internet(or real life).

I for one still stands in the middle of between East vs West in gaming, thou it has becoming harder and harder for me to control my self, and I end up in those flame wars...and of course i tend to defend the East side more.

Games are an easy scapegoat and it's ridiculously sad these days.

Look at the last paragraph where it talks about CoD MW2. For that level, it clearly says if you don't want to do/see that you don't have to play that level.

The media is famous for it's half assed truth. People will soon realize blaming video games won't get you anywhere :P
