RunGS....Loader Data Not Found!

For the 2000 +2003 + VISTA + WIN7 +2008 does not work, I suspect that is not the server files!

Testing as well.

Loader.exe of GS and GSCS wont run on Windows Server 2003, no error appear just dont pop up. :D any fix for this?

Run the real exe first, close it. Run the loader, then close it. Run it from the short-cut/lnk.

yes you get that error because query for masterdb is already exist means you already add that query in master db:) make sure you have WZ_MD5_MOD.dll see instruction bellow.

apply the query that i post in muonline db. no need to repeat the masterdb query. :)

Thanks for the tute, I can create account but the client says "Your account is invalid.". Tried restoring from a NON-MD5 pack, I can login fine. Can you share the NON-MD5 backup database (SQL2000)?

i got a fix. the database is on md5 support. to turn of the md5 simply run this on query

go edit your muonline database in SQL manager>database>muonline>tables>MEMB_INFO>Design Table>mem_password change varbinary to varchar and check allow nulls also change nso_num from 13 to 18 :D

hmmm nothing happened to me since the first time i test this and the first character i made is Rage Fighter... and till now ongoing test using rage fighter. :)

idk what is the problem. i delete and reinstall the database but still the got same problem. tired to figure out what is the problem. :( at the first time i got registration problem. after i fix registration now creating rf is my problem.

TRY using other DB,

or RUN QUERY from enc 2.0.4.0... :)

after take the script for RF and use it

2. warp to map of kalrutan - moved to valley of loren
3. website character info of ragefighter - unknown

from "bak" files :)
problem is from commonserver file.
and about md5 better do it disable it is make problem to enter

I have to agree this is the easiest to setup, I was able to put it up and test (minus the md5 thingie). I've tried 3 releases prior to this one, and again highly recommended for easy-out-of-the-box MU release.

if your using client on the first post which is Enc client/Sun Mu Client Place your movreq to local/eng folder. :) if im not mistaken or if still not working put on /local/kor folder. Good Luck.

For me I'm using Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 + Microsoft SQL 2000, tried it on 2 boxes even, 1 for development and 1 for production use.

so no problem on running loader.exe?

because im using windows 2003 SP1 and im currently updating for SP2 hope it will be fix. :)

but 15 hours ago i rung loader.exe without a problem then when i came back this morning i do restart my server and when i load the loader.exe it wont run anymore. :(

Try this step:

1. Run Gameserver.exe then exit after error message shown just click ok.

2. Run Loader.exe if GS is Loading close it if not work try compatibilty mode.

3. run Shortcut for Loader.exe

That's how I run GS and GSCS, looks like the loader exits abnormally from time to time. I do have blank GS/GSCS but the log is populated so I do know that it is running and working.

i think this loader.exe is not for windows 2003 :D problem still after updating windows :)....

maybe need to create another loader.exe that will run stable on windows 2003. :)

GS and GSCS loads is normal. You need to click in Menu at GameServer "View" then view log.
Just make compatability in both GS and loader and will just run smoothly.

after clicking loader.exe gs wont appear. so i cant view the log because no GS on window ^^ :D i think some people also have this problem.

Finished/completed ragefighter Quest!

But when I logout from the game, and enter again, select my character Ragefighter then I cannot connect to the game.

Did this 3 times already, doing normal quest from Priest Devin to werewolf quarell, then to gatekeeper to Dark Elf.

I'm using windows 7 64bit
previous server MFS Team S5 update 4
Now this Season 6, all works fine.

I've restarted the server twice and so far I need to watch the process GameServer.exe and GameServerCS.exe in task manager. Had to wait for the window to come about for 5 minutes and if not I end-task the exe, then relaunch again. I'm using the short-cut provided in the release.

Problem is: after clicking Loader.exe while TaskManager open gs.exe auto exit without error just disappear.

so GameServer.exe shown up after 5 mins of waiting?

I'm running it under Windows 2003 not Windows 7. I make sure that once I click the shortcuts it will launch the exe file together with the window/gui. If it does not show up for 5 minutes, I end-task the exe. Then re-launch again.

my problem is even in task manager you cant see the gameserver.exe because it close automatically. after launching the short of loader.exe.

but in my season 5 server., loader.exe is 100% working. only this loader.exe of season 6 malfunctioning. :(

it wont work. i do relaunch many times but still disappear haaayz its hard. :D

im currently using mucore web. its better protection than other. :)
