ok so I've got my files from here:

I got the login server working and the game server. I placed the system files in my freya client but I can't start it. I don't get any errors oranything, the client just doesn't start.
I looked in the l2.ini file but I didn't see anything unusual about it.
I'm running out of ideas and I'd like some help.
you may saved in wrong version the l2.ini.
that might be possible, but the l2.ini does not need any to be decrypted i've looked at it and it's already preconfigured. since then i've deleted it and redone the patch a few times.
anyway I need to encrypt it in 413 witch is what I did I checked.
well download a server's system and use l2.ini. you open it with l2fileedit and then you save it
I tryed that already with 2 other servers and it didn't work.
this is what I got:

Wrong Protocol Version 216
I modified the server.config protocol to 216 and it worked, I managed to log in but what does that mean ? what's with the protocol ? does it have something to do with the admin console showing me blank buttons?
protocol means that you are using newer client than your server's files
so I guess that's why all the icons are all messed up. thanks for the help!
