We have programs which work with data in SQL server but there's not many program for manipulating with server data files (*.scp). Of course those files are text & readable but a program with a GUI would be better :) It's my opinion :)
I agree,a program which manipulates server files would be nice,so people can edit easily the drops,rates,everything throught a user interfaced based program
I was working on something like that with Chumpy a while back, but he's been absent for quite a while... I dunno if he's busy anymore or just gaming XD Your break's over, Chumpy! Get back to work.
A program to manage server-files need to be made in a language that runs in Linux, and I dunno that.
Pfft, why do things the hard way? Remember most people want to be able to make these edits on Windows rather than having to connect to the server and edit there. Anyone with any sense has no desktop on centos (more free RAM) so a linux GUI wouldn't work anyway.Quote:

Everything else is best done in MSSQL. Most don't have the knowledge though but I plan some nice general SQL guides soon to show you how I manage and remember my queries.
hmmm shenn you can make a program like ostara but for see all ip from players when connect.... :thumbup:

you understand wrong i don't explain good so
when people connect to my svr i need to look in database to find the ip adress and the account name
so you can make a program when te people connect to the server to find easy the ip adress and the acc name xD
