Mindfuck´s

I have some mindfuck´s for you guys :)

First:
If everything is possible, is it possible that something is impossible?

Second:
If Pinoccio says "now my nose is going to grow" what happens?

This things drives me insane sometimes. :grr:

He has gadgets on his belt, it does not simply "spawn" anything that he needs. Both Superman and Batman are on the Justice League, so there is no reason why Batman would carry Kryptonite to combat someone on his own team.

Superman will win, hands down.

So wait, if they can only be found in this "chicken"'s ovaries - where did that "chicken" come from? Yeah, an egg.

Whatever evolved into a chicken would have eventually laid an egg in which would be what we today describe as a chicken. Thus meaning inside said egg there would be a chicken - henceforth, the egg came first.

First:
This is a reductio ad absurdum that not everything is possible.
If the answer to "is it possible that something is impossible?" is "yes", then something is impossible -> not everything is possible.
If the answer to "is it possible that something is impossible?" is "no", then it is impossible that something is impossible -> not everything is possible.
Conclusion: not everything is possible.

Second:
It depends how we define "now" imo.

1 - Yes. In terms, something being "possible" means it CAN happen, it does not state a scenario where it WILL or WILL NOT.
Its the option/choice/probability that it WILL or WILL NOT.
Its not either of them, so, yes.
If something is impossible states that it cannot be possible...
...then it can be a lie, because that "impossibility" is also a "possibility".

I could as easily change the situation as you have done to

Superman without weakness to Kryptonite vs Batman with Kryptonite.

Superman will always win, he runs faster than the speed of light, leaps tall buildings in a single bound and turns back time by flying around the Earth a few times. Batman has Shark Repellant Spray and a gay sidekick.

The word "now" states that it was to happen immediately.
The general statement is a lie.

And to use cartoon preference to back me up, you notice his nose doesnt IMMEDIATELY grow after the lie.
So even if it became true, it would be in a little while.

It would be the same situation if he told a lie, then told a truth.
It would still grow.
