The error is the Event.xml not the ODBC cause the Event.xml probally is enabled, but the file cannot be read right

Absolutely not. Nothing is wrong with the Event.xml. It clearly shows that the server isn't connecting to the database.

Makes sure you configure the SQL Server Database with the right name (Same as the server.ini database name)
Make sure your odbc is done correctly...
Make sure server.ini is correctly... (like a missing ")
