Hi,
I'm fully new to the "PW Emulation World" so please can somebody explain me which emulators exists? After more than a hour of searching I found the angelica emulator (angelica-emulator - Project Hosting on Google Code). I've seen that there are some premade packages for a server emulator in this forum, but I want to get and build the source on my own so some informations could be helpfully.

There are no PW server emulators.
Forget all you know, pw is different.
We have the offical server files leaked from the offical developers. We can only modify so much inside of them (.data files mainly), and they are incredibly out of date (1.2.6). There is little to no coding involved with PW developing, almost all of it is done using tools to edit the games .data files which store all mob/npc/item/you name it.
Yes there are emulators in development. Eta? god knows.
The only (public) emulator is still in early alpha, maybe even before that. I hope developments speed up when the forum for that thing is finally up and running.
Perfect World Server file's is not an emulator
it was a real stand alone Server file's wich run under LINUX. the emulator is VMWare Vbox and the other's
if you asking about Perfect World Emulator, the answer is, NO Emulator for Perfect World

No one actually knows how we got it, just that apparently LevelUp games is very much responsible for the leak. It came in binary form and only thing we have really modified would be authd as that is Java (and the JDK comes with a decompiler (which is quite different then disassembly))Quote:

Eitherway, like Robb said, forget everything you know about other games out there Perfect World is very, very different; we are one of the few games that got a leak of the official server files.
flyff, dragonica, l2, ragnarok (maybe even more) have leaks too, but some day they started making emulators becuase the binaries sucked hell.Quote:

As far as i am aware the first package sent from pw bejing to level up games BR/PH was leaked. It contains a very early server management interface and a full network setup guide in chineese.Quote:
