So yesterday I started watching Death Note.
I am on episode 9 right now.
and it's only starting to be lamer is it worth watching all the episodes?
or is it only going down?
Because I am getting tired of that on guy is on the hunt for the other guy and that other guy wants to kill that guy?
anyway is it worth watching to the end?

Depends on your genre on anime really. If you don't like thrill, mystery or psychological types, Death Note is not the anime for you.
Its one of the best animes, its story is full of twists, how can you get bored watching it?

I prefer Code Geass. But Death Note was an "okay" Anime for me. Not so great not so bad. If you ask me I think it's worth watching till the end because it gets a lot more intense and interesting.

lets be honest if you're bored on episode 9 you might as well stop right now because the scenes only get "SO MUCH BETTER" if you enjoy the series. if i were you, just watch code geass if you want more action

There is NO mindfuck anime that can match up, or is in the same category as deathnote. Watch it til the end. Worth your time.

Code Geass and Death Note are not the same anime.
Story, plot, idealism(lol) are different. Both are equally gay, though.
As to which is better, I can't say.
Code Geass has better plot and storyline, definitely.
But Death Note goes unchallenged as a series in terms of individuality and mystique.

True, L was among the top 2 most fascinating characters.
But if you had the heart to ditch it then, you wouldn't have finished Light's story.

I'm not an avid Anime watcher, but the few series I've watched I rather liked Death Note.
I like it's theme basis of how someone with good intentions of having power becomes corrupted, and their views getting warped, turning into the type of being he sought to stop.
Well if you're more into anime like K-On I guess you wouldn't really like it, but Death Note is, after years, one of my top #3 anime, so I advise you to watch it;p.
READ the Manga first, WATCH the Anime after, THEN watch the Movies ;D

They had the best background, yet they came up with nothing more than boobs, cool villians being killed by breast milk, and powers with no sense of logic, and pointless murder from both the antagonist and protagonist.
They even went further and used comedy in the plot, just to see what would happen.
And then, stupidity and empty-headedness.
I'm more into action-based anime, and not a big fan of Moe and massive boobs ( I hate Freezing too -_- ), so personally I don't like K-ON... :<
Freezing isn't that bad of an anime, its kind of unique. I think the exposure fits in with the anime. I just feel that the boys in the anime don't get enough story line though.Quote:
