Home Front
Has anybody else played? It came out yesterday and I am in heaven with it.
For those who dont know:
Home Front (from the writer of red dawn) is a concept of a futuristic equiv to wwIII. Kim Jong Il passes and Kim Jong Un takes the throne. North and South Korea sign a peace treaty ending the korean war. They then shortly after invade Japan. They signed a fake peace treaty with America. The official war starts in 2026. A counter spy group is migrated into America (their leader Salmusa.) The koreans launch a high powered sattelite for stronger gps. The sattelite is actually a giant emp. The counter group detonates tons of bombs on American sub ways across america and then they blast the emp. The Korean republic then invades us. You must fight your way through back yards of america fighting off Koreans.
I read the book and loved it (book is based off the game)
So who has it and waht systems do you have it for?
I have it for Xbox and I am in heave playing it.
It is like cod but with newer features, a feautreistic setting and a hella fun online. OH and so far its VERY balanced :D
Anyone interested in mroe detials the site is Homefront

Re: Home Front
I uhhh, obtained it on the PC and I'm working on "fixing" the exe as we speak, but the devs "broke" it really badly, so its being a hassle.
Looks good though so thats my motivation to get it done.

Re: Home Front
Story = Good, a good break from the constant WW2(or any world war) or some Russia bullshit plots, or current modern plots.
Campaign = Too short, I also don't like how a lot of the violent elements were cut from the final game, such as the dumpster baby.
Gameplay = A bit below average, feels abit too CoD-ish, which is NOT a good thing.
Multi-player = Pretty unique and good.

Re: Home Front
hi..
friend
the game is awesome.
This game has so much potential yet the company sabotaged itself in a few areas. The FPS category is currently dominated by the Modern Warfare series and Homefront is a much unpolished copy of this. The multi-player requires a payable code as mentioned by others. While fun, the MP has only 2 game modes so far, but does involve some interestig concepts with spawnable vehicles.
The enemies are pretty generic in AI and skins. There are only about 3 types of enemies as you'll quickly notice very early into the game.

Wow, didn't know there was a game like this.
Very interesting, might get the game!
I think it's good to watch some gameplay before purchasing this game.
