Steam - Darksiders

Now i don't usually endorse games, but Darksiders is the Steam weekend special ($10) and after grabbing it at this price during the xmas sale, i had to make sure more people get this.

This game is BRILLIANT. The best hack & slash games i have ever played, hands down. It has many RPG elements to it, and is better than any other game in the same genre. I got maybe 60 hours of playtime out of it, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Can not recommend this enough, and very playable with a 360 controller (this is what i preferred).

Looks nice so far. I've seen the personage somewhere.

But you do realize it takes elements from so many other games of the same genre (some also from not the same genre) to achieve this?

And it's still not as memorable as other games of the same genre, eg. DMC,DW,GOW etc. etc.
