You can use ep3 for GM tools but you mustn create ep3 item.Only ep2 item.
Have you changed its settings using the xor patcher (and the right xor key)?
you can not connect with a gm tool to the database, use the admin tool for that and use the xor patcher and insert ur ip adresses in there..

I have the Admin tool and can connect to my server, but i want connect to my db(happy hour manager,strategy point manager,...)
i know this thread is old .. but i need the fix too :S
i can connect to my server but if i want use hh manager or sp manger it says "Cannot connect to database"
