[VB] "invisible" Picture box help plz

hey guys i have a problem..

im trying to put a picture box where the Background ins invisible. the setting it to transparent does not work..

For example:

if i wanted to put the "Progress bar" behind the picture [it's a gif, transparent background] i can't this is what happens:

is there any way to truly put the background transparent?

I dont think so. You could try putting textbox on top of the picture..
