Xampp

i have problems with xampp 1.7.1 on windows 7 64-bit.
i'm logged in with admin acc and running everything as admin but i can't start mysql it's starting and stopping imadeately any suggestions?

Could be due to wrong installation permissions. Reinstall it, though this time, right click on Installation .exe, and choose "Run as administrator". Install it that way. Also, if you have applications like "Teamviewer", or "Skype" installed, either remove them, either change their listening port to something else.

After that you should be fine.

LOL use xampp 1.7.3 cause xampp also can be on bits .. :D

just keep using the 1.7.1 xamp
and the xampp apache cannot start cus maybe u have skype opened or some programms which block it

then u should restart ur pc and have those programms closed and it will start.

You can use Xampp-portcheck.exe to see what program is using the 80 port..and then close it

mysql is using another port excuse me if im wrong but i think that it's 3306

i checked it with port check tool and it sayd that my 3306 port is free, but mysql is still not working, if anyone wants a video of how it looks like i can make one maybe then you can easier find a solution
