Hades Emulator (Full Source Code)

Well, I left muonline a while ago, and I found the old source code of my emulator on my backup disk, so, I'm leaving it here for people to continue my work.

I've done many things on this project, and I hope someone some day continue working on it (if so, please keep my name on the credits, and send me a message, I'll be glad to help again if someone gets working on it again.)

Here's where I stopped:

I left muonline coz I'm currently running a game development company with some friends, writing games for PC/Xbox360 (indie)... we plan to release one in the end of this year on steam...

- Source of LoginServer, GameServer and ConnectServer + Network Engine
- Some .txt conversion scripts (PHP)
- Simple settings editor
- Database editor (accounts, characters, items, etc)

Thanks for this release wolfulus, I don't know much about c++, but I'm learning... and perhaps in some not too distant future, i can continue this wonderful work you.

I think the source code isn't that hard to understand... but you must know some precompiler tricks and IOCP model to understand how the whole system works....

BTW:
It will be nice to reimplement the whole network code using my network library (I made it after stopping with the emulator... coz I never found a good IOCP library, so I developed my own: Hps Framework - Easy to understand too)

Compiler: Visual C++ 2010

but you must install boost into the development machine...
if you look over the internet, you can find the precompiled libraries and headers.

What is the difference with a emulator and a normal server?

normal server uses very much resources from your pc and emulator uses less next emulator is made from 3 applications and is much more easy to configure it than a normal server and finally i prefer emu and not a normal server files :P
