I have my own private server running well. I just want to find out how I can modify my character stats like craft skill lvl?
I tried to look in SQL but I could not find the place.

I already did that, but found no solid answers. One would think it would be a common thing.
In general I find that some people are helpful, while some just waste time by answering as you did.
Anyway, I will keep looking and honestly, if you don't have anything helpful to say, why bother with your lame answer, you just trying to get your post count up?

I can get XML editing, but dont know where to look. Any ideas for looking in the right direction.
There's a plugin for pwAdmin where you can create a custom skill three for your character. But it goes only to level 10 (Doesn't have god/evil).

Just unpack it inside the plugins folder of pwAdmin

When you unpack it there, the skill hexgen will appear in the pwAdmin page. Just put your mouse over the "Plugin" link in the main page.

okay.... I just noticed.... its there already... and when I change something... it does not seem to 'keep' it. It reverts back to 'unavailable'.
What I am trying to do is make everyone have lvl 10 craft etc. when they begin.
go into the addon choose what skills you want your character to have.
Then click submit and it will print out some numbers
copy all the numbers
Then go to the character and click the xml button.
search for the word skills and replace everything between ,<variable>and</variable> with the numbers you copied earlier
Is that what you did?

Don't forget to export cls config before shutting the server down. Otherwise, the char templates will be reverted to the default.
To export just type this command in the terminal:
cd /PWServer/gamedbd
./gamedbd gamesys.conf exportclsconfig
Oh... thanks for the tip....
On the same note... how can I edit the stats like HP, MP, CON, STR etc on a toon... I looked in the XML thing but could not see it.
It's not recommanded to do this by pwAdmin. Go level up with monster id 12222 and with a gm weapon!Quote:

I dont know if you can do stats but search for pp in the xml, it is the skill points a character has.
Dont put it above 500 at a time though or you wont be able to log in
That's exactly why I don't suggest to edit the stats via pwAdmin. Use the normal way. So go level up to get some attributes points...Quote:
