Hello, Community!
I have a base of accounts from my old server, and I would like to use it, but no password to the account does not fit.
I understand that the Problem in the algorithm of encryption and password verification.
So... I have a sample of the old algorithm create an account.
the question is, where do I change the algorithm for verifying a user password in my new server?

I wrote something from the realm of science fiction? or so simple that no one even bothered to leave at least some comment?
Use navicat for mysql and dump the old database. Then import into the new server.
Phpmyadmin seem to don't like the algorythm of pw passwords and corrupt them at export..

You can use plain text as well for the passwords too... The pwserver transform everything in "byte". This is Mysql that define the password's algorythm. In this case it's the function varbintohexsubstring. You can look in your mysql under your pw database functions.
if you want to dump your user database and put it somewhere else you need exactly the same charsets on all transfers and programs you use. otherwise you need some freaky charset conversion hacks to make the passwords usable again. (unless it uses a portable password storage strategy)
