Hi all, i have a question

I have my server up and running and everything, i made it a long time ago , and i have the old items maps etc...and i want to "patch/add" my server with the new items (eg: 99 items or w/e)...
I was just wandering, now i don't want to crash my server cuz i wasent the one that actually put it up for me, it was a freind...How do i do this? Can i just DL the files and overite my server files? (eg:just DL the items and paste them into D:/muserver/xxxx or sumthing like that) Or what is the RIGHT way to do it to avoid any problems?

files are 40% bugged
but have some cool things like spots,monsters,etc.

can any one post here the client so i can test it :D or just the main and local files or guide what to download , muclient_99b or 99b+ or 99b_full?

This is my first MU Server and predictably i'm stuck and confused

The server available on the wintoolbox site appears to be different to the one the guide uses. This one has a muserverstartup tool instead of the links to start the server. When I user the tool (all ips i could find are changed even in the startuptool ini's) but it stays on dataserver1 is running.

Could someone possibly tell me how to get it running with this tool or where I can find the serverfiles that correlate with the instuctions?

I happened to run the server successfully and I was able to connect using a 99b+ client. The problem is that after some time it says disconnected, usually I encounter this problem in less than 1 min.

The problem is that I can't catch the cause of the problem in-game because even if I dont move my character, I am still being disconnected. What seems to be the problem?

In the game server this was the error ...
Game working responce error causes conclusion [4800][][][192.168.0.100

It would be a great help if someone would give me the solution with this problem. Thanks in advance !

Hey who dont get the 99b server files go to mine release + client

i got this stupid freakin` error, my vault won`t keep any thing, after i disconnect it resets..what the hell? and in the mu editor i can see the armor and all the things i added.. can any1 help ?:eh:

u have the vault bug and trade bug if u use this muserver files,go to mine thread by release,download there mine server files,all things works very well.I hope ur guys tested mine server files+full client.there are so much ppl that tested :P

I get a logon error when i clik on the + for the (local)(windowsNT). Does anyone know why this would happen?

right click MS SQL Server,than make new one.but check of the service manager is online.If still dont work reinstall sql

nvm problem fixed :P I had the little chek mark in the wrong box inside Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services.
Double-click MSSQLSERVER, and then click the Log On tab.

Hmm now it seems the ranking.bak and the exdb.bak have both the same files inside of it so it wont allow me to do a restore for exdb. muserver\DB\Ranking_Log.LDF and
muserver\DB\Ranking_Data.MDF are inside of both the ranking.bak and the exdb.bak why is that?

yes what is that lol.deleted that shits.u dont need to restore that.
U test his server files now.if it dont work :icon6:

On Exdb restore just change the lines:

(muserver\DB\Ranking_Data.MDF) in (muserver\DB\Exdb_Data.MDF)

Ok fixed that the problem im having now is when making a new login user i dont see the IUSI_MU anywhere just guest. Would guest work for this?

IUSI_MU dont need to make.that is for website and add internet protocol(/p) properties dont need too.this guide is bad.make a new one lol

You can have to add them yourself, open MonsterSetBase.txt.
D:\Muserver\data\MonsterSetBasettxt

PEOPLE!!! HELP! Ok, I need some help i'm trying to make my own server but not sure how. the Instrucionts page in the other pages in the forum had an error saying" You are not authorized to view this page'' so what ever ok now... i read down and it dont have the Flaming Phenix items and Nature and Huricane and Dark Soul items. I need istructions (full) on a mu that has all thos eitems and the dragon invasions and in Tarkan Please give versian name and stuff That whould help alot thanx!
