I am new to this kind of stuff, and the problem is most likely something small and stupid...
I know that should be asimple thing yet i am trying to get it working since like two days. I got to the point where it shows the yellow shield above NPCs head(like if it had a quest for u), but when u actually talk to it, he only offers you to see him next time.
So thats what i do -
Clone some NPC like general summer. -rename, new id(199999), new initial talk thing
Clone some monsters(array sentry) - rename, new IDs(200001-200004), new stats, new drops
clone some quest(where u have to kill monsters) - rename, new id(300001-300004, add quest and reward npc(199999), change mob id in errands and change rewards
than clone activate(300005) and recieve quest(300006) things for the cloned npc, and put the quest numbers(200001-200004) in there
add those activate recieve things for the npc
put the npc and mobs into npcgendata
restart given map
everything shows up and works as supposed to, besides quests. those dont even show up in chat window.
i tried a really lot fo things, changed just about everything, and ran out of ideas.
using staskedit, seledit, snpcedit
any help appreciated : )
