Ever Think about playing a WoW private server? Eternal-WoW is a pretty good one.
"Officially free" or "Privately free" ?
Vindictus is pretty fucking fun IF you have a group on Vent or Skype
would be great if you can give us more detail on your preference.

You can check out World of Tanks, which is a tank mmo...
Prius, which has got lots of big bosses.
Spiral Knights, which is a cellshaded cartoony hack and slash mmo.
English version of Dynasty Warriors also came out too.

age of wulin looks perfect! i might give world of tanks a go but i looked at some videos and the gameplay looked kinda slow
League of Legends is a pretty fun game, No Bosses but there is PVP and Leveling.

I've been having the same problem too, since Maplestory is getting on my last fucking nerve.
Anyways, I've been toying around with FlyFF Pservers, they're not bad, but get boring after so long. There's (somewhat) bosses, PvP, training, farming, upgrading, etc.
But hey, If you find a game you wanna play, I'd love to go play with ya (take that in both contexts if you wish).
I have a mic too so, could possibly start a "gaming" group? Just an idea, and it'd be more fun with a group considering you'd actually have people to play with <.<;
