[pics] My 6 month gym progress
Well, I'm 17 and only started lifting about 6-7 months ago, and when I started I had no fucking idea what I was doing really, after the first couple of months I started reading online etc and learnt a fair bit which helped get me to where I am today.
When I started out I could hardly bench 30kg and didn't know what deadlift is. I DB pressed 10kg DBs (srs), and my ribs stuck out from my skin very visibly, I had never been to a gym in my life.
I know I am still very small, but in comparison to the skinny little bitch I was mid last year, I am a whole new person.
Any seasoned gym-goers have any advice?
Me last year @ ~75kg (165lbs):

Was and still am not on a strict diet, just lots of lean meat/chicken and (fairly) high carbs, I have a fast metabolism and getting 'fat' has never been an issue for me really
the supplements I take:
basic WPI powder, creatine, men's multivitamin
nothing fancy really.

Re: [pics] My 6 month gym progress
I would like your thread but I cannot for some other reasons...
It's the summer and I'm about to start working out again. I need to gain masssssss
Re: [pics] My 6 month gym progress
Mass gains takes years. TS had the joy of being young but wouldn't be surprised if he took a special substance too.
Re: [pics] My 6 month gym progress
The only answer to gain mass is, EAT!
I began to work out like 5-6 weeks ago and i've gained like 2-3kg so far and went from a barely 30kg benh to 50x3.
Stronglifts 5x5, highly recommended scheme for newbs and more experienced.

100kg bench, that's nuts! Good job.
Btw, how tall are you?
I've done 90kgx2 at squats once before, but haven't been able to perform dead and squats last 2 weeks duo back damage ):.
Lift heavy, get heavy! ;)

i think the best advice anyone can give to a kinda new lifter like you is learn to do squats and deadlift with good form (start light, but focus on form) from the start, because so many guys go to the gym and think "girls dont care about how big my legs are" then end up looking like a faggot with chickenlegs and feel stupid benching more than they can squat.
i'm 6"
