[TUT] 2011 - How to make an Old School Habbo Retro! [TUT]
Introduction
Hello Everyone, this is my first Habbo Retro tutorial so please judge my tutorial accordingly. I spent a long time searching the web to learn how to make a working habbo retro, I basically combined all the YouTube videos I watched, and all the threads I read, and created this tutorial to help all of you. I tried to make this as "noob-friendly" as possible. Also, I am using Hamachi, since I do not yet know how to Port-Foward, I do NOT have linksys. Let's get started!
Step One - Create a Free Website
- Enter in your Email Address and Password then click the green button "GET STARTED"
- Enter in your Site Address, which should be the name of your hotel.
i.e. boomhotel.webs.com
- Enter in the Site's Title, which should be the name of your hotel.
i.e. Boom Hotel
- Pick whatever category you feel suits your website the best.
- Select your favorite template, remember, your retro, must fit on the page. WAVEFORM SD, is a good template, since your retro will fit really nicely.
- Agree to the Terms of Service by checking the box under all the templates.
- You should now see a title that says "Choose Pages For Your Site", deselect all of them except for "Home"
- If you want your website to be FREE, then select the Basic package, if not, go ahead and pay for one of the premium services.
- Now here is the fun part, make your website however you want. Be creative!
- Yes! You have created your very own website, however, this is only the first step in creating a Habbo Retro. So go use the bathroom, get a quick snack, and let's get to the good stuff!
Step Two - Download Hamachi
- Click "Download", and install Hamachi.
- For Hamachi to be successfully installed, you may have to restart your computer, if that's the case, then do so now. If not, then skip this step, as it is not needed.
- Look for a button that reads, "Create a new network...", and click it.
- For the Network ID, you should enter in your Hotel name.
i.e. Boom Hotel
- For the Password, most people make it "123", since it is easy to remember, your password WILL be shared with other people, so that they can connect to your hotel.
- You should now see your Network ID listed with a Green circle on it's left.
- Do you see the "Power Off" button? Look to the right of it, that long-ish number is your Hamachi IP Address, I just wanted to make sure you knew where it was, cause you will need that later on.
- Awesome! You have successfully set-up your very own Hamachi Network.
Step Three - Download WinRAR
Step Four - Download a Habbo Retro Server
For the tutorial, I will be using Debbo v3.5, if you are advanced, feel free to download the other server's I have listed.
Server explained in Tutorial
Server NOT explained in Tutorial
- Download the server you chose to your Desktop.
- Right Click on the file, and select "Extract Here"
- Wait for it to fully extract all the way.
- You should now have a folder named something like, "Debbo v3.5"
- Double Click on it, to open the folder.
- Look for an Application named, "Debbo V3.5.exe"
- Double click on the application to start the program, if you ever have a problem where you can't open it, try right clicking on the application, then "Run as administrator"
- Woohoo! You have successfully downloaded and installed your very own Habbo Retro Server, let's configure it in the next step.
Step Five - Configure Debbo v3.5
- In the bottom right of Debbo, you should see a button that reads, "Welcome Wizard"
- Fill out the Welcome Wizard
- Do NOT change the Port Number, leave it as "1232"
- When you finish filling out the Welcome Wizard, click, "Create my Hotel"
- Debbo will now restart so that it can create your Hotel
- Now at the beginning of Debbo, click, "UserLock system"
- Make sure that, "Registration OPEN", is checked, and that HotelLock ON is NOT checked.
- Now click "Save" and exit out of UserLock system.
Step Six - Putting it all together!
- On your website, click the button "HTML", it is the last one on your toolbar.
- You are going to copy and paste the code below, and fill in the red text with your correct info.

- Hamachi IP = That long-ish number we saw next to the power button.
- Your Website URL = The address of your website.
- Once you have copy and pasted the code into the field on Webs, and you have edited the red text to your info, Click, "INSERT HTML"
- Now in the top right of Webs, Click the green "Publish" button, so that your website will be updated.
- OMG! I am so tired, aren't you? You have made your very own Habbo Retro! Congrats!

Re: [TUT] 2011 - How to make an Old School Habbo Retro! [TUT]
Sorry if this isn't the place for questions, but where can I acquire the game files such as sprites for items or trax mp3s?
Or do I just need to rip them from some other retro?
A habbo retro without items is boring!
Re: [TUT] 2011 - How to make an Old School Habbo Retro! [TUT]

Fuck off troll, your opinion insults me.
@Triztan: Good tutorial. You should touch base on portforwarding, hamachi is such a dead concept, and plus people are 10x as lazy as before.
