gPotato Presents Flyff - A Completely Free To Play Online Game!
Basically a security breech caused everyone's account to be in jeopardy and a mandatory pass reset and new pass policy is/was in effect.
I know a lot of people play on the officials and yes this is news.

I can see their support staff are gonna be working like crazy lol, I am all for security/stability as player or dev, so I think its a good thing to do.
I think people don't make strong enough passwords, and don't change them frequently enough. Either way accounts still hacked :P

It's bullshit. I am unhappy. I cant remember the email i've used for registration, because I've registered the day Demian was added. Therefore can not recover my pass.

This will cause a lot of problems for eflyff. My friend got exact the same problem like me. They denied request to remind her what email she used on registration.
Wow, just wow. First they had a purge, then merge, and now this breach? Things are not looking good for eflyff.
I wonder why they are using recaptcha....
Also it's just a password change. You login and type a password out 3 times then do the recaptcha and done lol.

If you got your secret question and answer, just make a ticket to get the e-mail back/change it.
That security *breach wasn't even on gPotato, btw. They're bitching mostly because the network that got compromised had the user data (including passwords) stored in plain text.Quote:
