Someone recently pointed out to me that I wasn't allowed to advertise my hosting services here. I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed, since this is after all a mmorpg development forum.
The benefits of opening a hosting section would be that people who need a server to host their projects on wouldn't have to go off-site to find one and they could have an actual user-to-user connection with the person who is providing the servers for them isntead of having to deal with submitting tickets and whatnot.
Another benefit of having user-run hosting is that they are usually much cheaper than mainstream hosts.
If there is a specific reason why it is not allowed, I will gladly abide by it.
