TERA Online

Is anyone following this game in here?

I've been testing this since November 2009 as part of the FGT group the US publisher created.

There has been 1 FGT test in November 2009, 1 in April 2010 and 1 Community Play Event in early May on both the US and Euro sides.

TERA will be published in the US by En Masse Entertainement and in Europe by Frogster AG.

In the end of May, Frogster launched a small fan video contest event where we were limited to a few trailers of their site to re-edit and create a new trailer.

There were a total of 80 contestants (I'm one as well) on this event.
The event is divided into 2 categories, where 1 the video get's elected by public choice and the other is elected by Frogster's Staff.
On the first option, to be elected by the public, the video needs to gather the most Thumbs up on Youtube.

Prizes for this category include 1 T-shirt, 1 pair of flip flops and 2 beta keys for the next round of betas.

The keys (if I win) will be distributed over a fan community that I've been administrating.

I played the beta and I have been following this since 08.
It tries to do something new, but is still bogged down by generic korean stuff D: not to mention the stupid politics shit they added in the korean server.

Still early to give a rating, but as of now I would rate it 7.5/10.

So you got on the Korean beta then... :)

I didn't start to follow this up that early like you, but, yeah... They still have plenty of work upfront if they want it to succeed for the western audience.
Hopefully, they will start to listen to the community more again and start making things like everyone asks.

EME is a subsidiary company from Bluehole Studios...

Blah my bad, I keep thinking this was NCSoft's game >_>

In a way it was... At start...
Bluehole Studio guys were the original L2team that made the first 2 chronicles of Lineage 2.
So when they left they have taken the original L3 files with them...
Court decided everything, they payed the fine for the "code theft" and the games developement didn't stop like NCSoft expected it would.

For the fun of it, I decided to pick up the audio track from Vindictus trailer and throw some TERA footage at it...

There isn't much to compare with those 2 to be honest. Not so sure about RaiderZ since I only beta tested C9 at early stage.
C9 is a lobby game like Vindictus. It's a complete instanced world while TERA is seamless with little to no loadings.
The only loadings you will be seeing are the teleports from point A to point B. :)

I have been following the dev of this since early march and it looks friggen gorgeous :D I cant wait. I am going to be playing it on a $3000 gaming rig :3

I also have been fallowing this game for a while. Looks like Aion nothing really new here... maybe the politics in this game will end up being something worth while playing.
