Trying to take onboard you guy's criticism.
Good job writing so much when you know someone's not gonna read it lol. Just saying.
Does the front page even get that many views? I go straight to /forum/.
I enjoy reading it.
You blog still doesn't work, Google Cache doesn't even work on it too.
And I only skimmed read this article, but I think you shouldn't use "Satan and Saint". Sure it will attract and grab attention, but "Good and Evil" gets the job done already without drawing too much unwanted attention.
I honestly didn't read the whole article, I kind of skimmed a few parts of it.
Where did you get the personality wheel from? It's obviously not yours, so maybe cite your source instead of ripping random things off if you are trying to write a 'professional' article.
Also, your English leaves much to be desired, you wrote a lot of sentences I had to read a few times to know what you were trying to say.
This sentence really has nothing to do with the entire article, and serves as a poor 'attention grabber' if that is what you were trying to go for. Feels like you were really sitting there waiting for Steam to download and trying to write something, it also seems like you changed your mind mid-stream about what your topic was going to be (very made-it-up-as-you-go style).Quote:
If I want to discuss this, first I must ask myself why is Steam taking so long to download those games.
I don't think you understand possession. The MMO doesn't own anything you are talking about. Its MMOs. If you aren't sure about something like this at least look at some examples. One link in the news section gave me this: Planetside 2 will 'revolutionize' genre, says dev notice their use of MMOs:Quote:
We never see this in MMO’s
I also didn't really feel like you proofread your own article:Quote:
it probably would have been one of the biggest MMOs out there.
Also apologizing and asking people to PM you at the end is a blog post not an article. If you are sorry for what you write, then fix it until you are not sorry before you post it.Quote:
Of course these are just suggestions and probably won’t happen any time soon, but I feel the sooner is does
Just to prove it's not me being crazy, it does actually work for me and some other people: http://i.imgur.com/mwZjV.png
And, tl;dr
Your character needs more of a personality. Instead of feeling like you've just been thrown into a world, you need to feel apart of it. Moral choice systems are okay, not good, not bad but okay. The best option would be a color wheel of traits and personality.
Doesn't work for me in Chrome, IE nor Firefox.
EDIT: Proxy works, your host IP blocked New Zealand or something?
You completely missed my point.Quote:

And how about you reply to what I said to you in your last thread?
I didn't get any of that, lol. I got about half way through before i gave up. Simply could not understand what the point of the article was.
Your sorry it's not longer...? If you ask me you should be sorry its that long.
Your not exactly writing for a blog anymore. The whole article hardly made sense to me. I started to lose interest after 10 seconds after the beginning. Also your use of females in your articles are too much. We get your a woman so don't flail it around like in your previous article.
tl;dr: Looks like your just ranting over something and you write too much.
If you ask me you should be writing more about MMOs rather than world of warcraft and these seem-to-be rants so it goes along with the rest of the articles on the front page.
It's also a learning experience, what everyone wrote here that seems like criticism(semi) is a learning experience.
A real criticism is when you can make good pointers and grab the understanding of many many people, then suddenly someone negative about it comes along and comments on it.
Sadly, you still haven't set you foot down on which direction your heading and you are constantly trying to tackle big subjects, which isn't a bad thing. But with the way you are now, your not ready for it.
Personally from my point of view, your the type that writes better if it's someone else choosing the subject for you(even if you hate the idea, the other half of your brain will still do it). It's up to you and I guess, mental(or whoever is in charge of approving articles) to see if if this can be experimented.
If you didn't read the whole article, then you shouldn't be commenting on it. Not to mention, I've seen the personality wheel before, it's pretty popular. I felt no need to cite it, it's just a diagram of the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator personalities.
No one forced you to read it, it's about standard article size. 'Article is too long' =/= 'Article sucks'. Also, I didn't feel that she's flaunting the fact that she's a woman around. She's right when she talks about how women are the main focus of today's peer pressure. They've been made into (almost) an object of worship, so it'd fit right in with the article. Also, believe it or not, World of Warcraft is an MMO.
3 posts and your only friend on the forum is Macheath. If your gonna pick up for your friend because you don't like our criticism then please leave. I'll add in for Madison as well. We don't care if you've seen but we haven't and it would be for her to cite her work rather rip it without adding credits to where she found/who made it.
World of Warcraft is the most overused mmo reference and source for an article ever. Even a blind person could see this.
She asked for criticism so stop acting like she didn't ask for it.
