Hi, im using Windows Server 2k8 x64 standard, im using SQL 2005 Developer edition, i used to have Express edition but the same happened, the problem is the RAM consumption, the sqlserv.exe process starts consuming 50 mb and it eats ALL the RAM avaiable until dataserver js and others show error of insufficient memory, any ideas of what could it be?, should i change to WServer 2003?. Thanks.
did u tried sql server 2008 ?
i dont think thats the problem i use windows server 2008 and i dont have that kind of problems my pc works like this 50% of cpu i think is a little to much but is because i have dual core and 745 memory:mellow:
I tried SQL 2008 once but didnt get muserver files to work with it, im gonna try again

Im sorry ShadowKing, i didnt read it, also i already tried that but when SQL reaches max memory ,JoinServer, DatServer etc, shows error message "Insufficient memory to execute query", and server goes down. Also, i use Windows 7 with SQL 2000 and that never happens it consumes MAX 25 MB. Its pretty weird.
Its not weird, its just different techniques to improve the performances on database side. Leave me a PM with your email address and I will set the limit in MSSQL for you.
