How to Edit Textures in EBM ENC
Hi ! to all Ragezoner's
in this Toturial i wanna show you how to Change the texture's
of the Orihalcon
so lets Start,
but First back-up you're Original man11.ech
then after the back-up has made open the man11.ech with 010Editor SweetScape.
Run the EbmTemplate First then --> Find "StructMT MaterialsAndTextures" --> "Struct MAT material[26] witch is the Orihalcon" --> "Struct TEX texture" -- > "ubyte texture_data[4194432]" <------ TAKE NOTE This is the original size of Orihalcon after that goto -- > FILE -->Special --> Save Selection : Sample Name : man11.dds <-- Save it then open it with you're Favorite Editor Like PS or PAINT.NET
When you're Done Editing in PS Like the one Im using just Save it--> The NVIDIA PLUGIN COMES OUT --> Here's the Confusing one Dont Just save it because you might loss the Alpha Color of the Texture ......,Click the List of the Combobox of NViDiA Plug-in then Find the 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32 bpp | unsigned...... Dont touch the 2d texture if you dont know how to use it .. then after that save it .... Close the PS then go back to 010 Editor Open the Script of Sir Yamachi --> "ReplaceTexture.ebm_ebs_ech_eps.1sc" <--- Thank's to this Script cause we make it Easier to EDIT :-) after that Open the Template the "EBMTemplate.bt" Dont Run it Just Open it
Attachment 90504
run the Script then Another Form Comes out
it will ask you to input "Material Index" the "Material index = Struct MAT Material[26]" is the index of Orihalcon so you must input 26 then HIT Ok Button Find the ---> Click Open then It Packed in youre
Man11.dds .. Again run the EMBTemplate.bt to save it And Save the File And Youre Done!...
Run youre CABAL AND SEE IF ITS WORKING!
Dont Ask about how to Edit the Image in
PhotopShop Because Im not good in PS editing Also hehehe Blame me with my SS....
so Just google how to Edit the dds files and there's alot of Video toturials there....
And Also if you want to share what you have Already Learn here in RZ just share it :P .....

BIG thanks to YAMACHI'S Script :-)

Re: How to Edit Textures in EBM ENC
I don't think this really needed a tutorial.. The scripts and template made it all very simple and it's quite obvious how to use them. Your tutorial is also quite confusing and could be explained much better. Thanks, anyways.

Re: How to Edit Textures in EBM ENC
Is it possible to create a new item and add your modified textures? I spent hours looking at the ech files and I have no idea how the textures are being called from the item.enc, or is it by cabal.enc? I'm trying to create a new football costume, not to overwrite the original.

Then I opened man9.ech and found coat_u9.dds matches the texture of winter fever epaulet. Shouldn't the code be coat_341.dds? Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you sir.
Here's a screenshot of files I'm checking.

EDIT: Don't mind my post. I know now how the codes work, thanks to SpeedDevil and Yamachi :)
