i think a different font for "Soldier knows best" would be better.
also, putting a link to your youtube on your youtube seems a little redundant, no?
i like the boxes on the side.
lastly, i think you should have more color, instead of one focal color in a dark and lighter shade, why not try 2 different colors?
someone's weird ends up good.
I have a different style from everyone, Thaks for the feedback =3
You have no idea about how much it means to me.
Thanks a lot, but look on his channel ^^ ..
well i know it's weird but..[COLOR="Silver"]
meh its okay, but nothing brilliant.
It's really strange, it's not bad, but it's not good.
Doesn't make an impact.
It's just too neutral, might as well go with plain youtube template to be honest.
I must admit, it is a little neutral, plain. The gradients DO help a little, in making it stand out a little better.
The font for the logo, isn't right. I feel, it'd better suit a header, or something - which isn't relevant to a YouTube background. Perhaps something more solid, and less abstract would do the trick?
As someone above mentioned also, the YouTube button is redundant. If what you were saying, is that your friend displayed a YouTube button also, then your friend is wrong. You may aswell have a button that says; 'Hit F5', it'd do the same job.
I like the icons, and possibly the 'silver-gradient' boxes, on the left. Though, without seeing what the YouTube background would look like - live, I've no idea as to how they would look - and whether they'd appear 'out-of-place' or what have you.
Again, with the Social icons. I can't help thinking they would look a little better right-aligned, where the last navigation button resides.
To improve the neutrality of the layout, perhaps alter the logo/ navigation background (gradient) colours, to a grey, or something darker. To provide a 'little' contrast, with the content box below.
Also, if possible, add a little 'background-image', of a very light colour other than white. Possibly even a grey striped background (#CCC or lighter).
I hope the above helps a little,
~Jak
Sure, cc's are always welcome as they help me get better !
It looks good imo, but it doesn't fit the default youtube template. Is it for the new Cosmic Panda update?
o_________o looks really... bland...
Meh, if you're talking about the size , it's just that I made it on high-res but of course i'll have to re-size it .
And no , it's not ^^
That was for tyler.
For anyone else, thanks a lot for the feedbacks.
See my theme ‪ragezonecom's Channel‬‏ - YouTube , its all done via backround and css. Ide use that as a template.
it's plain ugly and won't ever work as an yt channel template
it's nice and simple to me. (:
is it coded? are you going to release this? :p
Not really .
^^
Anyways, i still didn't understand how can you upload a "coded" page to youtube , really.
Yea, I can code it too, also I can release the PSD if you want to .
I made it for fun ^^
Updated version !

Youtube only allows you to upload an image. This image simply won't work as a Youtube template.
This is how your template works with my YouTube channel.

You gotta use a template such as this:
