to configure Windows 7 Firewall
I have port forwarded my router ports :
44405 TCP/UDP
55901 TCP/UDP
80 TCP
and now i turned my windows 7 firewall on and i need to makes rules
,but so far i did one rule only for website port 80 and it works,
but i want to know how to make rules the right way for ConnectServer and GameServer.Should i add 44405/55901 ports into
Inbound rules or Outbound rules or for example 44405 TCP in Inbound rules and 44405 UDP in Outbound rules.Who knows what i mean, please answer me.What about sql2005 server And if Dataserver is set to private,is it secured?
Re: to configure Windows 7 Firewall
Just allow this:
ConnectServer (Public and Private)
GameServer (Public and Private)
But the other must be now allow to access in private and public to defend ur server or not to be hack by anybody!

inbound or outbound ? or both of them. I actually have rules for tcp/udp for gs and cs also for gs_cs if you're with newer version. I made rules in inbound and outbound but perhaps only one side is needed...dunno.
edit: yes only in inbound you have to add rules
Re: to configure Windows 7 Firewall
now when i want to create new char i get error 'No more characters can be created'
and other account doesn't exist...
Re: to configure Windows 7 Firewall
fixed.i have found out that Windows 7 firewall inbound = TCP ports and outbound = udp ports
