[Help] Editing elements

I have been trying to add items to elements to put in gshop, however haven't had alot of luck doing so. I have tried adding things that are already in the files I have, but aren't in the elements buy cloning something else and directing it to the proper files. After doing so I save it for client side, export it for server side and add to gshop. It shows up in gshop, however when I try to buy it, it says the boutique does not have this item. As soon as I change the ID number of the cloned item I get this issue. Case in point, Lottery Ticket(28304) is already in the elements and works if added to gshop, however if I clone this item and give it a new unused ID it will be in gshop but I can't buy it. I have double checked many times that it is the same on both client and server and that gshop matches. I have 4 different sELedit apps and they all have the same effect. Any help would be great. Same issue here and still dunno why it happened... I'll check something with my backups files...

Check the IDs. Gshop doesnt support high IDs

So what would be considered a high ID?

If you have IDs higher than 30000 in your gshop it doesn't work... You can't buy those items with high IDs

Ah ok thank you. Another question, ID numbers are specific to their list correct? So same number can be in two different lists without issues?

no. its really rare that this is working. for example it works for list 1 and all other but its really rare. i wouldnt try it xD

By example you can't have two items with the same IDs. It will be confuse for quests and so on. And there is multiple list with different type of item but they will never get the same IDs.

If you have Items you want that are high ID's just make them Craft-able at a Forge that needs low level Crafting Skills, or add them to an existing Shop. Or alternatively add them to a Boss drop.

Just change the ID to something smaller of course xD Might not be much help BUT worth a try with what I said.. And also as Romulan said you can't have 2 Items with the same IDs. I personally don't advice you to try the Double ID way as it can bug out your elements files..

Yup. Make a item (mold?) with a low ID and called "Cubi Gold". Add it to gshop.data and then make a npc called Cubi Shop at archosaur... :lol: And don't ask how it's very easy xD

Ok thanks for all the info and help. Now have items not sellable in gshop added to NPCs for in game coin.
