Getting Robbed .

I am in vacation with my parents atm and live with them, they have a professional business in one of the biggest station in south France.

Yesterday while nobody was at home, I went home at midnight my door was wide open and broken, as I was shocked because my neighborhood is pretty dense and almost impossible to not get caught, I realized they took nothing but: my parent's chest with 5000€ in it, iPad and 600€ Toshiba computer .

Total of 6000€, my dad has 40 0000€ cash hidden in all kind of places in the house (my air conditioner, his business papers) .

As for the cash, 40 000 is just the cash we have since vacation .

Hey guys just booked an EasyJet flight to the south of France, I'm going on... holiday.

That's a shame that you were robbed mate. Though it is a massive security black hole for yourself and your family's property posting all this stuff online. Yes, robbers won't necessarily be browsing RZ but this info can be picked up by search engines and web crawlers.

Some people use it to get under taxes...
Put 50k cash in closet in your home and you don't get taxed over it.
I always ask if I can get paid by cash when I work somewhere.
I can keep more cash that way at the end of the year.

OP, gotta suck. Once someone walked right into our home with a hoodie and an open bagpack, when he saw that one of us came out to see who it was, he ran. We've locked our doors every day, even if we were home.
