Can you post a screenshot or can you detail what do you mean by "corrupted dds" ?
It pixellates it.
This is the original, saved as png to show here

An easy fix, at least for this piece would be to make it not dyeable which I know how to do, and to make it always come the color of the dds which I don't know how to do.
the input file seems not to be supported check if it is dxt3 or dxt5
not to sound dumb but how would I do that?
upload the the corresponding source images it looks like it's a different dxt compression because macro blocks looks flipped...
Here is the original and the 2 attempts.
I have gotten it to work once the did some editing, then redid the tint fix and since then haven't been able to fix again. If I can just make it unable to dye and stay the color of the dds it would be fine, but not sure how to make it be a certain color when bought.
it's dxt1... you forgot to upload the corresponding nb_rw_***.dds file, but sCLOTHfix works fine with a synthetic one, so maybe the nb_rw_***.dds file causes the trouble
Sorry here it is.
works for me except an old block artifact bug which i haven't fixed yet...
quote from official docs:picture shows after fashion fix (left) and the final image viewed without alpha channel (right)Quote:
don't worry if some parts of the texture are now removed from the preview it just means that the disapperad parts will not be dyed (the parts are still there, only hidden in preview)
I am aware of how the tool works as far as the preview, but I have done it and got the same result as you and other times the massive effect. Either way doesn't work to put in game, at least not for me. What line is it in elements, or is it even in elements to keep it the default color of the dds file? Thanks for the help.
you can also do it manually
- open the fashion texture file with your favorite image editor
- split the channels
- open the mask texture with your favorite image editor
- split the channels
- use the blue channel from the mask texture as transparent channel in the fashion texture (maybe you have to invert channel, not sure)
- save the fashion texture with the changed transparency channel as dxt5

to make fashion "un-dye-able" make the image full transparent with a professional image editor (without deleting values in RGB channels)
or in other words set all values of alpha channel in the images to 1 (255)
