[Help] Item Icons for NPC/Boutique
OK I would assume that these are in surfaces.pck, however I have unpacked several client and searched for icons that fashion and such are pointing to but found nothing. In fact when searching inside of every pck file except building and grass no icon can be found for anything as far as fashion, mounts, flights.
I have manually opened folder after folder only to find none. Am I blind?
Re: [Help] Item Icons for NPC/Boutique
yes icons are in surfaces/iconset there are two files (because bear in mind icons are different between male and female chars)
iconlist_ivtrf.dds
iconlist_ivtrf.txt
iconlist_ivrtm.dds
iconlist_ivtrm.txt

basically any 'little box' (icon) you see -- is in those two .dds files (and referenced within the TXT files) or somewhere within surfaces/iconset (ie... your pets icons are in ICONLIST_PET.DDS/TXT)

Ok thanks now just need to figure out how to redirect to proper icons. Gonna guess it is somehow done with the txt file. Trial and error, or is it error & error? lol Either thanks again for the help 343 you are a real asset to this community.

Yes it is controlled in the TXT file. Basically like you would read a book and make a list (in America anyway) what you see in the DDS is like reading top left - bottom right TXT file is the list. So the first image uppermost left in the DDS will be the first DDS listed in the TXT file. Same as the last DDS listed in the TXT will be the lowermost right DDS in the DDS... Hopefully that all makes sense :)
MANY things are learned through error & error,,,,, I mean trial and error :) And thank you, I try 'en help where I can :)
