This is what happen in the console when you marry two char.
Did someone worked on a fix for this? Did someone remembered the old fix with the tasks.data? (hex edit something)
Any suggestion are welcome! I realy want to fix this bug...
I dont know why the marriage is Bug, or fix it.
But I try use the alternative solution posted time ago by member of the community, do it directly from PwAdmin using the ID of each character that would solve the problem of marriage to the same gender (priest female + venomancer )
Alternatively works for me when I'm in test period but moving =)
I've been able to reproduce it several times IF after marriage you logout while still in squad. Doing so always guarantees the marriage wont stick. If on the other hand you manually leave squad then both logout it seems to stick just fine. As long as you aren't ever in squad with person you married it seems to stick just fine. (My assumption is that they were lazy about how they disposed of resources held up by you after logout. For squad they probably just did a generic find and remove then saved to prevent you from being in same squad on login. I'm assuming the issue with that would be that your spouse also got hit by that little search and destroy so it wouldn't save.)

Yea but i guess you run a little server with only a few players... What would you do in the case you have a real private server with a lot of players? huh? xD It's a waste of time while you can do something else on your server...

Thanks for the info I'll try to dismiss the squad before logging out to see what happen. But I'm not sure about that...

So I tested marriage quest yesterday and today. After logging out and in the marriage is still there but no matter what I do, after second log off the marriage always wears off =(
That's marriage bug is realy annoying... I heard something that there is not this bug with an old tasks.data...
Sooner or later I will get around to finally testing this (hopefully), but like I said I have never had any issues. Even supra can back me up, that at least one of his installations of my 'release' he never had issues either. Though for some reason I think he said he now does have issues =\ so IDK WTF it could be if that's the case (why on some installs there would be no problems and on others it will have problems)...!!!
I am running your release also 343 and have issues, even when doing it through pwAdmin. It will stick on 1 but not the other. Have tried with chars being logged out for over 5 mins, then staying logged in for over an hour, but after log out and back in it's gone.
