Official Patch Server Directory Listing
For some weird reason (I don't know what happened ) I could get the directory listing of the official Perfect World Brazilian patch server.
But it's incomplete (just listings of "fpatch3.perfectworld.com.br/CPW/element/element/" subfolders and "fpatch3.perfectworld.com.br/CPW/launcher/" folder and subfolders are missing, I think. I'll try to get them later, if I can.)
I hope it can help someone building your own patch server.

Re: Official Patch Server Directory Listing
the offical developers host the auto-patcher servers, not the publishers.
Re: Official Patch Server Directory Listing
Look at this logfile from the patch3.perfectworld.com.my patch server:
http://patch3.perfectworld.com.my/CP...20110411162023
There's a rsync error.
I think the publishers hosts the patch server and the developer rsync the updates.

Re: Official Patch Server Directory Listing
Well if I'm not mistaken the publishers do host the patch servers, but they are not given anything for the 'installation' of them. If my memory serves me correctly (from the documentation from the initial 'leak' Rom released) it states that installation of patch servers not included, that they must set it up so that they can be remoted into for installation/update from the main company...

yes, this is what I was thinking of/remembering

III. Patch Server Group
NO ONE HERE! did not provide an installation package for the patch server, installation will be done remotely by PW. Below is a summary of the work that needs to be done by NO ONE HERE!! and NO ONE HERE! to set up this server group:
NO ONE HERE!! will: NO ONE HERE!!
prepare the servers, install necessary software – OS (Fedora Core2), apache, FTP
install firewall in this setup
open these servers to NO ONE HERE! so they will have access.
If one of the servers goes down, LU! just has to reinstall all the necessary software and seek PW for support.
NO ONE HERE! will
configure servers and install the clients that will be used for the upload and download of the patch.
In case one of the patch servers goes down, PW will provide support and reconfigure the patch server.

If you read the setup document you'll see them mentioned several times.

Re: Official Patch Server Directory Listing
Somethin like that, I'm guessing whoever 'leaked' this changed all the 'official' names to NO ONE HERE! for whatever reason...
Re: Official Patch Server Directory Listing
The leaked server files are in what language?

The original ones? English mostly with some Chinese remnants (mostly in the status/error messages), the ones PW France has? Only they know...
