Hi there. i wanted to know how to make my own clent. And what tools i would need, i am a novice programmer. How hard would it be if i was to start from the scratch?. And if there is a easy way then tell me. But i dont really like stealing off others LOL

There are a bunch of editors available for the data files at osrose.

dds can be opened in Photoshop with nvidia plugin.
and use your own client, not another private server files.
i am not using there files just there client. so i can do testing on my server. and i know all this . i want to know about GENFS files and how i can decompile and compile with my files in it. gezz

what i mean is. i have these genfs files that act as the loading pat on the client. i use 7zip to change to a folder. i have edited the files now i want to know how to zip / compile to a GENFS file again. how do i do that?

I have no idea what GENFS is. I've never heard of it.
Does the roseza client use it's own customized version of VFS or something like that?
Why don't you just use a nice simple client like the HRose one that osirose is designed to run with. This is irose type of course though.
Purpleyouko thanks and it has some vfs data in it. instead of using 3DDATA.VFS it uses the GENFS files witch have the .DDS files in it . but i will take your advice. And i have one more question.could i make a offical rrose sever? or not
