Brother and Sister busted for having sex in an elevator.

A TWISTED brother and sister are facing jail after they were spotted having sex in a train station lift.

Richard Finlayson, 21, and sibling Kirsty, 18, romped in the elevator as they were filmed by CCTV cameras.

The shocking 15-minute clip showed them exiting the lift — only to return a short time later to have sex AGAIN.

And as they left for a second time Richard gave Kirsty a £20 note.

The depraved pair were later arrested by police after a railway worker at Motherwell Station raised the alarm.

Last night a family friend said the revelations had left the pair's family "destroyed".

It came after Richard, of Carluke, Lanarkshire, and Kirsty of Lesmahagow, admitted having unlawful sexual intercourse in June last year.

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard how they left an 11-year-old boy who was with them on the platform during their illicit tryst.

Depute fiscal Amanda Gallagher said: "They both went into the lift and were seen having sexual intercourse on the CCTV.

"Both accused then exited the lift for a short period before returning and continuing having sexual intercourse.

"Both accused then stood up and left the lift. At which point Mr Finlayson was seen giving his sister some money."

The court was told Kirsty Finlayson had admitted the sordid act to police.

But she denied she'd had sex for cash — while Richard said he gave her the £20 "as a brother, not for payment".

Last night the family friend said: "We're devastated. I was sickened when I heard about it.

"Most of the family knew nothing about it until letters for the case came in.

"We can't believe it. It is a nightmare."

Sheriff Ray Small ordered Richard to be placed on the sex offenders' register. The brother and sister will be sentenced next month.

AFAIK incest (with direct family) is actually illegal in most countries.

Adult incest should be legal. It is one of the few laws restricting sex between consenting adults still in existence. It should have vanished along with no-sex-before-marriage and sodomy laws. I am not saying that it is not wrong and disgusting, but I cannot see how it helps anybody to criminalize them and plaster them on the tabloid front pages. They are not going to get laid with anyone but each other for the rest of their lives.

Not exactly sure in what cases the same thing could happen but alot of people get warned over it because of their genes or w/e, then it's a % chance but that doesn't always stop them either.

There have been laws against incest a long time before the risks were even known. Those risks only support keeping that law.

I still see no argument why would have a law against incest due to the risk, where as mentally challenged are free to get kids.
Don't get me wrong, I am in no way supporting incest, but the argument of the defects risks are as (in)valid as those of the mentally challenged. So would you want a ban on them as well? And how high does their IQ have to be? How about some laws to protect us from all the stupid parents? Drug users? etc etc.

Again, I'm against incest, but I'm not sure what the connection is to the law, there is no argument against incest that you can't be used against various other things that are legal. Therefor the law is pretty much BS.

Like I said, there were laws way before they known about birth defects that were made because they were basically considered 'icky'.

The reason why they are still around, aside from the defects argument (which can be countered), is the fact that anyone wanting to remove this would be a goner, they would be serving their last term.

Imagine in the US if Obama were to announce that he was removing the law, people would just ask the following questions:
"Why? Do you want to fuck your mom?"
"Got a thing for your niece?"
"You found out that your wife is your half sister?"
etc

If he were to do it then aside from some rednecks (:D), no one would vote for him.

Of course the laws have been in place long before they did any medical studies, but I'm fairly certain they would have realized "Hey, all of these incest babies are kind of fucked up".

Then again, there are MANY laws in place today which exist only because at the time, they thought it was as you said "icky".

Not related in the slightest but still relevant, take Germany for instance who only just unbanned the video game Doom because they realized the historic value superseded any possible violent tendencies it may have caused. They banned it 17 years ago but only now were they able to revoke the ban.

Here's hoping that int he next 20 years stupid laws like that are slowly weeded out and removed as people start to actually do research before banning things or making them illegal.
