GunZ Features and AntiHack
Hello RaGEZONE community, my name is xHalloweenx and some may know me as Nayr438. I am beginning a project called ZGEngine. ZGEngine will consists of several parts, but for this discussion I will break it down into two specific parts.
Part one is ZEngine which will provide features to GunZ itself. Examples: UGrade additions, Custom commands based on UGrade, Chat Colors, etc...
For ZEngine I am requesting people to post what they would want as far as new features.
Part two is ZGuard which will be the Anti-Hack. This will consist of several different types of definitions to block current hacks and attempt to prevent newer ones.
For ZGuard I am requesting people to post names of Hacks that currently effect the GunZ 2008 Server/Client.
The project will be closed source but will be freely available to use. ZGEngine will be a long term project that will continue to be updated via ZUpdater.
There will be a few downsides to the project as far as the community. Due to the complexity of the system the file "GunZ.exe" will be provided by me and ZGEngine will only accept the provided "GunZ.exe". The file afterwards will be a bit difficult to alter due to changes in the file that ZGEngine has to make during each run and the random calls between ZGEngine and GunZ itself.

Surely with some work, you could make it work on multiple runnables? I don't see why the modifications will restrict it to one client, unless you just don't do multiple addresses etc.
Also, not being rude, just asking a friendly question :D.

Well while it does use addresses there are several modifications that are done to the GunZ executable itself. Think of GunZ having 2 memory banks of the .code segment and both of them continually swapping data. Its a safer way of making sure ZGEngine is actually running apart from the random server checks. It could be done across multiple runnables but both ZGEngine and the executable for GunZ would both have to be altered for each one.

- Donor coins ingame (Buy coins on site, then ingame make a tab named "Donator items" or so. And make it like : "Donator Coins: (Value)" under "Bounty: (Value)"
- Event Points system. Press a button to show a list with the points gained by players in events. (GameMasters and Admins can update it every round)
- Maybe a minimap
- Last man standing game mode.
- Capture the flag game mode. (When the flag is taken, the carrier will have 25% of his lives, otherways it's too hard to kill him.)
- FPS limiter ingame.
- Pick different interface themes ingame.
- No Tumble/Dash game mode.
That's all I can think of right now.

For Nayr48,
Features:
-Team training game mode.
-Duel tournament 2+ players but not 8.
-Mini map will do too.
-Sniper scope is like real FPS games(Don't think its possible but I am just asking/suggesting).
-User panel in game(Edit your character name/add color.. etc..)
-Set a password for your clan channel.
-Event shop in game if possible.
I'll think about more and say so.

These are what can be done. I may be able to do more in the future, but i can not guarantee the others.
1) Team-Training Game mode.
2) In-game User Control panel
3) Clan channel password
4) In-game donar coin system
5) Last man standing
6) Event system
7) FPS Limiter
8) No tumble/Dash Game Mode
9) Mini map
The donar and event shop could be added to the pre-existing shop and filtered.
The interface changing ability would most likely have to be done outside of the game.
The others are possible

Antihack it just detects hacks and breaks them? Antilead is what?

Sniperscope is possible to do search for Snifer in the runnable in the old Legacy Runnable it was possible to zoom but not get the scope effect so you will just need to add like a effect on it GL

Ok, not to be rude or anything, but look at all the past people who have said "Oh, I'm going to create a good anti-hack for GunZ" and start the project. They either never finished or never released it. Even the ones that are released either don't work anymore or isn't good/useful at all.
I'm very skeptical about this topic. Please, for the love of god, if you say you are going to do this, please do it.

This is going to be done. Do please note that not everything will come all at one time though. First thing that has to be done before anything is GunZ to ZGEngine communication and ZGEngine client side to ZGEngine server communication and the basic Anti-Hack(ZGuard). Which will begin the prototype phase, then the beta, etc... It will take a bit especially with my schedule to full-fill all requests.
It is alright to be skeptical the GunZ community is very untrustworthy.
