The custom cert manager works, but not 100% . Not easy to configure, it takes some time to test.

There is a table missing : SK_Gamebang_ip

Cert almost 100% working.
Table restored, but something still seems not right. Sql query error.
SMC not working at all, but i will wait with that until i / we fixed the other issues.

So people. With those files, and the section returned. Show interrest, and most of all be an active part by making these files work.

As i said, if we can fix it 100% i will share, until then try yourself some variations.

New SMC gives us the same error as the old one.

Yes, the media.pk2 is adding english language to the client. :-)

That's me, Chernobyl* from EPVP (also known as Jahte here, who was creating a thread about leaking the files/coding damn good emulator a long time ago), well, i was pretty newbie that time. I still didn't decide, where should i stay (i mean, with which community), but there is only two posible decissions at the moment for me - ***********, or RageZone. Guys , I am new here and I moved here from e*pvp because that community is a crap full of flamers and 12 y.o kids , so does anyone can make a guide with how to set up a server? I know to restore a db , to config a .cfg file etc etc but dunno exactly what to do , Thank you!!

About problems with connecting to database... Create 3 new ODBC sources named
SRO_VT_ACCOUNT
SRO_VT_SHARD
SRO_VT_LOG

Same with databases.

Use Sql Server driver

ODBC is not a problem,or that shouldn't be one.

The problem is, Certification, missing table, SMC. Three things that cost me an almost sleepless night.

I did as you said Chernobyl. Datbases names are SRO_VT_ACCOUNT, SRO_VT_SHARD and SRO_VT_LOG. I added all three in ODBC under SYSTEM DSN.

DB STRING:
query=DRIVER={SQL Server};SERVER=MACKAN-DATOR\SQLEXPRESS;DSN=SRO_VT_ACCOUNT;UID=sa;PWD=123123;DATABASE=SRO_VT_ACCOUNT

Changed it abit.

_ShardService table in SRO_VT_ACCOUNT database, change ShardID to 64, and ServiceType to 0.

I just hope all idiots from ePvP wont migrate to this forums.
Last time I was "working" with SQL was when sl.rar was released few years ago, and now I even don't know proper application and version to setup MSSQL ^^. I hope after studying this and other threads will help me.

Icant seem to get MachineManager to cert - _ - it just stands there when i open it.

Chern you may know the reason ? , i Can get agentserver,farm manager, gateway,global,download to all cert. But MachineManager wont Cert what so ever.

Sharmanager opens and closes in less than 1 sec, same goes with Gameserver. GAHHH

Right now, the only way for me to show the managers in the cert window, is to set all certification ports in server-cfg to the same port, 30001.
Machine manager is also crashing.

The SK_gamebang_ip table is a simple fix. Create a new table in the Account_db called SK_gamebang_ip. Add the columns "ip" and "capacity" to it. Save it and you are good to go.

My question is why do these files use ports 30000-30006 from Lucianos configs instead of the native ports Silkroad uses?

Hm.. this is exactly what i get. Maybe i'm to tired now.
Adding the node before uploading the ini files would have been a nice move of you, but i'm not complaining.

Well, i could write a good guide, but i need a some donations for a new computer, lul, so, once i get at least, 1/3 of them, i'll write it. (oh yeah, i act like a btch, huh ?) Do i really ask too much :? Working at current one is just impossible...
