I did not know AngelEMU sorry, and yes I would like to help if I can, but I'm a novice on this point, maybe in the future, for now I learn by looking at the topics ...
On the other hand, if we ever did get our hands on 1.4.4 (or a working EMU) I know I would still at a minimum "tinker around with it"... "just for fun" (I don't think I'd 'run' an 'actual' server though)... I would if I could find out how to 'nerf' the TB and EG (and I would probably eliminate genies all together)... But -- that's just me =\
I like Tideborns me, but I find too Earthguard cheated for my taste, I like the rest ....
Yea I must say the TB aren't too bad, just hope that if we get the 'server' or an 'emu' that they can still be 'nerfed'... IDK much about psychics but I know there are a few things I would change about sins... Like gaining a spark from going stealth WTF is that -- most if not ALL other classes LOSE a spark from performing a skill... So I'd swap that; stealthing would COST a spark not GIVE one... small shit like that though to attempt to restore balance. Because if there's one thing that's surely TRUE about official PWi -- is that it's out of balance like a MOFO !

I think you should release one of this arduous project, developers can make to help, an emulator is very hard to complete, and is something that will have to update their improvement forever.
Original file is not a 100% 1.3.6 as we have today! Aion example goes through several updates on their daily gamserver have a full server like wow and l2 take years.
But I believe that one day it will be possible with the effort of helping today.

It will take months when the emulator will be able to read them, but thankfully the work is going ahead quite fast lately.
r9 is broken, forget refines. point is on NORMAL gear (aka r8 or LOWER. Nirvy, warsong, etc) thety aren't so bad. ANYTHING r9 is broken, EXPECIALLY +12Quote:

When 'building' an emulator every single little aspect has to be taken care of. Things don't just take care of themselves... Just because one can 'log in' doesn't mean you can 'chat' or just because you can 'chat' doesn't mean you can 'use skills'...

You can't even use the basic attack... Like Nameles said it's an emulator so we need to rebuild the whole new server from scratch. Including rebuilding old and new skills and every single things on server side.
To do that, we log the packets that the client send to the server and we capture the packets that server send to the client so we can add new features to the emulator. And so on for every single things....
So before we can get skills working it need a lot of other things to be done before. Like the battle system between two things on the game.
I hope you can understand. If you still don't understand then download the emulator and test yourself you will see that a lot of things need to be done before working on the skills...

Just download latest one, unzip it, start the two exes, put 127.0.0.1 in the pwi xlient serverlist (patcher\server\serverlist.txt, start the pwi client and login with test and test
