hmmm... The movie RIO is about a bird in Brazil and that's good. You can know some little culture from that movie.
They speak Portuguese and love to annoy people in online games (Cheating).

I've only met a few Brazilians IRL, and they seem quite nice.
The chicks are hot.
The country, at least parts of it, is beautiful.
I have met/seen dozens upon dozens of Brazilian gamers, and the list of ones that I would consider not immature and douchebag-esque is literally less than 10 people.
Most Brazilian gamers, from what I have seen, are very young. Most are quite racist and immature, and just generally not fun people to game with. Even if they spoke English and were from the USA - I wouldn't want to be friends with someone with an attitude like what I see constantly from immature Brazilian gamers.
Also, Brazilians have this amazing ability to invade any game that doesn't IP block them, and (potentially) get it shut down in less than a year. If you start gaming and see "BR??" flying around in all the chat channels, would you stay? Don't forget, if they notice you aren't Brazilian, they'll cuss at you in Portuguese than try to PK you.
Nice, acceptable Brazilian people are just that - nice. It just happens that, from what most of us see in Europe and the USA (correct me if I am wrong) that, unlike some countries, the ratio of douchebag gamers is much higher in Brazil than many other countries.
