On a serius node, as if.
Given you have to look into some realy old threads, there are traces of things you think you're the only to try to achive.
The furthest anyone got was Shaygun (blood something on RZ).
For several reasons its way to time consuming with the current Script from Phantom.
However, headgears are a easy matter and are easily customly made.

Don't waist your time. Even the best of the best Gunz developers haven't managed to create a fully custom Model, too time consuming, and extremely hard.

I hope you know that it's much more than just simply modeling a Character in Blender.

I model in Blender (clothings and items) all the time rofl xD! It's simple for me using Blender.

Guys, enough! Anyway, Blender isn't just the only tool needed to make custom models for the main character's models, I still need some 3rd party tools but don't worry, I'll do my best to try this thing! ;)

Shaygun's name on ragezone is sushininja...
@Topic: Yep, making custom character models is possible, unlike custom animations (yet), except if you're an experienced python coder :P

You new the latest elu exporter made by Phantom.
Know how to rig models with Gunz bones.
Have shader enabled in client or the mesh will fold in on itself.
It has been looked into, and been done, but issues with the exporter make models require shader to be checked, so no one likes it.
