Serial Key Problem - BR Gunz launcher by Hideasu
As stated in the title, I downloaded the launcher Hideasu had released and tried to run Phoenix's Repack Runnable 4 using it but there is a serial key difference or something. It caused the runnable to be unable to start up. I wish someone can tell me what I need to change in order to get it working. Thanks in advance!
Can someone help me with this? I tried it with the Oct08 Files that Hideasu released and it is the same. Anyway, for the Oct08 runnable, I removed Xtrap and Serial Key but it is still unable to be started without using a launcher. ( Need help on this too~~~)

The name of your runnable should match the launcher. Try renaming the runnable to "theduel.exe" and try again. If you want something else, hex edit the launcher and change it.

I think he meant he needs help starting the runnable WITHOUT the launcher.

It's because you have named your runnable to something shorter than "theduel.exe" for example:
"duel.exe", Gunz doesn't recognize your runnable for some reason with short name runnable, it should be 7 letters.

There's nothing about having a 7-letter name. The name in the launcher should match the name of the runnable, as I stated above.

So your saying no matter what the name is and you edited the launcher to what it is and it will run it? Good luck making it run.
It obviously won't (2007 files)

Yes, that's exactly how it works. You need to hex edit the launcher and change the runnable's name in it, according to what it actually is.

Stop being ignorant, it isn't about size, it's about the name set in the launcher or changing it.
